This Bible app is simple, simple, simple to use. I kept simplifying the design of this app until my talented, but computer-challenged, wife could use it without guidance. She is the one to thank for how easy Spectrum Bible™ is to use and my time as AOL Chief Architect taught me to listen to her.
A quick swipe left or right shows you the same passage in another translation. The left-most column shows the whole passage in the original Greek or Hebrew. You can quickly tell you how literal a version is by its color: sky blues and purples are word-for-word translations, transitional greens are for the phrase-for-phrase translations, and earth tones are for the thought-for-thought translations.
The study helps that come with Spectrum Bible™ include a book and study guides that spring out of our Dallas Theological Seminary training that and take you through a simple four step approach to reading the Bible and address how to stay motivated while you do it.
The Greek New Testament and the Hebrew Old Testament is included and is presented so simply that you can touch a word and get its meaning and parsing without knowing anything about Greek or Hebrew. The Original Language Nuggets Tool is also included so that, with in-app additions from the store, you can easily track any word back to the Greek or Hebrew word it translates. Even if you can not pronounce it, in seconds Spectrum Bible™ enables you to find all the places the word is used and narrow down your understanding of its meaning.
The Internet is NOT required to use this Bible. That's because each Bible is stored on your Phone or Pad. That is also why the app is so fast. If you are wondering about how much space it takes up on your Phone or Pad, if you upgrade to the Fully Loaded bulk purchase option and download everything to your device, that takes up less space than one 15 second video.
The resources that come with the free download and the bulk purchasing options in the store give you a simple way to get fully setup. The study helps give you a tool that is integrated into the app so you can increase your Bible reading skill anywhere on your phone.

The app has always had the ability to pinch to change the font size and to pinch to change the number of columns that are showing. Now you can also pinch to change the number of rows that are visible. Each row presents a different passage and scrolls independently.
The app also now has a help system to conveniently show you how to use the various services of Spectrum Bible™.

We recently negotiating a $0 license agreement with the Lockman Foundation Bible publisher and we are passing that along to you by including the following quality Bible translations in new columns in this version's free download: Amplified Bible, NASB 1995, and NASB 2020. We are also offering two Chinese Bible translations (CUV Traditional and Simplified) for free download. Besides new Bible versions this revision also has completely reworked sharing services and an electronic version of our 275 page book, Flicker Bible Study.

Without changing the core of the app, the name has been changed from WAVE Parallel Bible to Spectrum Bible. All the usernames and services remain the same.
